SDG Champions

Naomh Breandáin is delighted to say that it recognises the importance of building a sustainable community for all its members and for generations to come. Credit Unions in Ireland are now the Sustainable Development Goals Champions for 2023 - 24. As a Champion, it is our responsibility to create public awareness of the SDG's. NBCU's journey started back in 2018 with the creation of a sustainable energy community namely Sustainable Energy West. Back then NBCU/SEW set out to stimulate and lead a local movement of energy efficiency and sustainable living where everyone benefits. A substantial number of relevent projects have been completed in the community during this time and we hope to continue with your help.
